CLASS-ified
You might remember we did lots of learning about the cardinal directions at the end of last term, and we were learning about the main regions of New Zealand. Today, we got to complete our CLASS-ified project!
Everybody had a role and a special badge to show what their job was. Aaron was an ambassador and spoke on our behalf, Eden, Hari and Alexie were our reporters, and passed on questions for Aaron to ask, Zaiden was our director and made sure we were all on task, and everyone else were detectives and responders, looking for and finding questions and answers.
The school we were matched with was called St Joseph's in Fairlie. Can you believe they only have 32 tamariki in their WHOLE school, and only three classes? We learnt that Fairlie is east of Tekapo and north of Timaru. Guess what? We found their kura first. We were very proud of ourselves.
