Our first session with Footsteps Dance

We had our first session with Footsteps today with our dance kaiako, Paris.  We learnt some movements to Waka Waka, and even some traditional African movements.  We had a lot of fun!

Cardinal direction

We are going to be having a Zoom hui (meeting) with a class at a school in another part of the country.  It will be a race to see which class can work out where in the country the other is.  In order to help us, we need to know the cardinal points (north, east, south, west).  We created a treasure map, and gave directions to a buddy using the cardinal points - and now we are SO ready for our Zoom challenge!
